Tip 2: Enter accurate loan info. If you are purchasing a home, enter the purchase price and what down payment you are considering. If you are refinancing a home, confirm the original loan amount, date of loan, interest rate and current monthly payment using a mortgage statement. It doesn’t have to be exact but the closer the better.

Tip 4: Enter accurate total monthly expenses. If you can add up all monthly debt obligations such as car, credit cards, student loans, etc. payments and enter the total monthly amount for all monthly debt liabilities. You do NOT need to include insurance payments.
